Sydney Buras is a New Orleans native that grew up training at NOBA “New Orleans Ballet Association” and NOCCA “New Orleans Center for Creative Arts” for high school. She is currently located in Pittsburgh,  Pennsylvania and is currently completing her senior year at Point Park University, where she will receive a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in modern dance in the spring of 2025. Growing up, Sydney has training in modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and African dance as well as voice and acting work in musical theater. She hopes to inspire new generations of artists to be bold and innovative, while cultivating a world where every artist can find their own voice. Sydney would like to gladly thank her family, her friends, Point Park professors, and her teachers for all of their support and guidance over the years.
